About Delaine

Delaine graduated from the Massage Therapy Program from Mount Royal University in 1995. Since that time, she has studied and has certifications in numerous modalities. Her practice is rooted in traditional Swedish techniques and she integrates this with Myofascial release, Trigger Point therapy, Cranial Sacral, and Active Release type techniques. Delaine also holds certifications in Advanced Orthopaedic techniques, Cupping, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage which aims at reducing pre and post-surgical edema. She is also certified in Perinatal massage and loves working with expectant mothers. Delaine is always looking for other modalities to enhance her practice and help her clients in recovery and improved mobility. She believes that further education is key to a successful practice and to help her clients achieve their goals. Delaine enjoys working with a diverse set of clients from all levels of sport, fitness, injury and conditions. A lifetime of participation in competitive and recreational sport has brought her an understanding of injury and recovery from the viewpoint of client and therapist. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting and has collaborated over the years with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Physical Trainers and Medical Doctors. Delaine is thrilled to be a part of the community at Lakeview Physiotherapy & Acupuncture’s Movement Studio.
