Deirdre graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014. Prior to becoming a RMT she worked for 14 years as a personal trainer. Her passion for helping others as well as a strong desire to expand her knowledge of the human body led her into the field of massage therapy. Deirdre has many years of experience working within a multidisciplinary clinic setting, alongside chiropractors, physiotherapists and other health care practitioners.
She uses a combination of techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, passive and active stretching, joint mobilizations and instrument assisted soft tissue release to address her patient's specific needs. Deirdre's focus is on building strong, therapeutic relationships in order to provide patient centered care and positive treatment outcomes.
In her spare time, Deirdre enjoys running, strength training and spending time outdoors.
