As a second-generation South Asian-Canadian, my lived experience of having navigated the values and norms of two distinct cultures uniquely positions my insight into the struggles and inner conflict silently endured. Life transitions, casteism, colourism, dating as a South Asian, separation and/or divorce, infertility, grief, depression, and anxiety are my areas of counselling focus. In your session with me, we will together take apart your story one event, one emotion, one thought at a time. Currently, my approach aligns with methods used in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. As a Registered Provisional Psychologist Deepak's fees are covered by Health Care plans, but we can only direct bill Alberta Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Greenshield and Sunlife.
