After graduation, Darryl specialized in physiotherapy in neurological populations. He worked at Toronto Rehabilitation-Lyndhurst Centre. At Lyndhurst, Darryl was involved in developing the Lyndhurst Fitness Centre and also helped develop the Out Patient program. Darryl has worked in private practice since 2001 working with individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries, Stroke, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Head Injury and other related injuries. Darryl has a parallel career as an award winning professional dance artist (performer, Master Teacher and choreographer) and currently teaches in Canada, US and throughout Europe. Darryl has extensive training with movement rehabilitation and also has his Basic Bobath Certification (2015). Darryl is an ADP authorizer and does specialize in hydrotherapy programs. As well as working with Alpha East, he teaches Anatomy with the Teachers Training Program at the National Ballet School (Toronto).
