I believe that our life is shaped by our life experiences, so I look at my clients holistically. I also believe that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected and if we change one, the rest will follow. Starting from the consultation process, I conceptualize what has led you to where you are today and develop a tailored individualized therapy plan. I support clients in person in the Windsor-Essex area, and virtually across Ontario. I offer individual, couples, or family therapy. Additionally, I also work with children as young as four years of age. I use evidence-based interventions and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. If needed, I use an eclectic approach and pull from different modalities if I feel that would be beneficial for you. I am a registered psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I also have a bachelor's in Psychology, a certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, and a Master's in Counselling Psychology. I have over 12 years of experience working with children and families dealing with Autism, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder. I also have additional training and certificates such as Trauma Informed Play Therapy Interventions for Dysregulation, ADHD in Children and Adolescents: Advances in Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management, Gottman Level 1, Treating Complex PTSD with IFS, and ACT as a brief intervention.
