About Danielle

Danielle is a dedicated physiotherapist whose own love of sport began early. She grew up as a competitive alpine ski racer, played varsity field hockey, and enjoyed recreational high diving. She went on to coach downhill ski racing for 17 years, giving her a deep appreciation for athletic development, injury prevention, and the physical and mental demands of sport. With over 14 years of experience in private practice, Danielle enjoys helping people of all ages recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they love. She treats a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions, with a personalized approach that focuses on each client's individual goals and lifestyle. Danielle completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen's University after earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Western University. She is passionate about lifelong learning and has continued to expand her clinical expertise through advanced training in manual therapy, pediatric movement assessment, and developmental milestones, allowing her to provide evidence-informed, individualized care. While Danielle enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, she has a special interest in pediatric physiotherapy and youth sport athletes. As a self-proclaimed "big kid," she loves making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for children while helping them build confidence through movement. She also enjoys working with young athletes, helping them recover from injury, improve performance, and safely return to the sports they love. In addition to her clinical work, Danielle has mentored physiotherapy students throughout their clinical placements and enjoys supporting the next generation of physiotherapists. She believes that building strong relationships, listening to her clients, and working together are key to achieving the best outcomes. Outside the clinic, Danielle enjoys skiing with her husband and three children, hiking with the family dog, and spending as much time outdoors and being active with her family as possible.
