Dan’s professional journey in social service work spans 18 years with diverse communities including adults, seniors, children and youth, Indigenous Peoples, newcomers to Canada, athletes, international students, law enforcement personnel, and individuals involved in the justice system. Dan has 10+ years of experience facilitating group programs in various topics including intimate partner relationships, self-identity and self-talk, healthy communication, and emotions management. These stories and experiences have expanded Dan’s understanding and approaches to the complex challenges affecting clients today. Dan is devoted to continuous growth and development to better serve clients and their families. As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW registration #14354) and a member of both the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS), and British Columbia Association of Social Workers (BCASW), Dan is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in his practice. Dan holds a Community Mental Health Certificate from Camosun College, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and is currently completing a Master of Education at Thompson Rivers University.
