A registered psychologist since 2007, Danica brings an unwavering commitment to helping her clients heal, grow and thrive. As a highly sensitive person, introvert, and someone who deeply cares about people and the importance of healthy relationships, Danica strives to create a safe, warm, and attuned therapeutic presence in her work.
Danica draws on a relational, neurobiological, and trauma-informed approach. She is particularly interested in how our developmental experiences, past trauma, and stress can influence and shape current functioning. Her focus is on what we can do to support optimal functioning, resilience, healing, and growth. She routinely incorporates mindfulness and experiential practices into her work as a means of helping people connect to the wisest and most intelligent parts of themselves.
She is inspired by pioneers in the field of complex trauma, attachment science, and interpersonal neurobiology, and believes that healing and change are possible. This belief fuels her dedication to her work.
Her practice is marked by a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is also interested in the role psychedelic medicine can play in mental health and healing.
In her downtime, she maintains a regular meditation practice. As of 2025, she has completed a two-year mindfulness meditation training program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She also enjoys meaningfully connecting with her loved ones, and opportunities to experience the restorative quiet of nature.
