About Dan

Dan is an experienced Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a Master's Degree of Physical Therapy from Queen's University. Dan's interest in physiotherapy and athletic performance stemmed from his own experience in competitive sport, and in particular, prolonged injuries which were successfully treated by physiotherapy. He is passionate about using manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and education to work collaboratively with patients to help them reach their goals – whether elite athletes or their grandparents. Qualifications - MSc Physical Therapy (Queen's University) - B Kin (UBC) - AM-IMS dry needling; Level 1 and Level 2 Lower (Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association) - Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain- Evaluation and Treatment Interests and Specialities Dan has a clinical interest in the management of vestibular issues and has trained in vestibular rehabilitation with the Dizziness and Balance Rehabilitation Clinic in Victoria. Dan also works as the sports physiotherapist for the Capilano University Blues program, and has acted as the head event physiotherapist for the CCAA Womens Soccer National Championships.
