About Dalton

There are times in life when things can begin to feel heavier than we expected. Perhaps a sudden change at home or work has left you feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of how to move forward. Or maybe nothing specific has changed, yet the things you have always been able to manage suddenly feel more difficult than they used to. You may find yourself wondering, “Where do I go from here?” or “Why does this feel more difficult now than it did before?” If this feels familiar, know that you do not have to navigate this alone. I am here to listen and walk alongside you as we work through this together. What you are experiencing, what you have been carrying, and what matters most to you will be at the heart of our work. My intention is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we explore your experiences and what moving forward can look like for you. Together, we can build upon the strengths you already carry while discovering new ways to navigate challenges and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. I am a Master’s-level student at Yorkville University, where I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). My approach to counselling is holistic and integrative, grounded primarily in Person-Centred Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, while incorporating mindfulness-based and strengths-based approaches. I have a particular interest in supporting individual adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, grief, and personal growth. One phrase that guides me both personally and professionally is, “Every day is a school day.” To me, this reflects the belief that growth is a lifelong process and that each experience can offer an opportunity to better understand ourselves. Whether you are navigating a significant change or feeling overwhelmed by challenges that have gradually become heavier, I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and move toward meaningful change. Let’s do this together.
