About Dale

Dale Bryan is a clinical social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Dale works with adults of all ages, offering virtual psychotherapy founded in the teachings and principals of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy & Mindfulness. Dale uses warmth and humour in her work, building a relationship of equals with her clients. Her primary goal is to provide you with trauma informed therapy in a safe and trusting space to explore your needs and goals, supporting you to access your own strengths and teaching you evidence based skills and techniques to make the changes you are looking for in yourself, your relationships and your life. Dale has a passion for teaching and utilizing mindfulness and self-compassion to help individuals reduce their suffering, enhance their well-being and optimize experiences of happiness and contentment. Dale has conducted adult and adolescent therapy groups, family support groups and family and couples support sessions in addition to providing individual therapy. Dale is extremely passionate about mental health services and committed to helping you navigate your challenges. In addition to directly treating clients, Dale also contributes to research and teaching in the field. Dale received her Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health and Health from the University of Toronto and completed her internship training in Toronto at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic, where she trained comprehensively in DBT. Dale takes her commitment to professional practice and yearly development seriously and has pursued continued professional supervision and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness. Dale has provided therapy to adults and adolescents in hospital, community mental health agencies, educational settings and in private practice in both Peterborough, ON and Toronto, ON since 2014.
