She holds a PhD and MSc in Physiotherapy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Alberta. Daana has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta and an Assistant Professor at AJUMS, where she instructed Master's and PhD-level physiotherapy students. Her teaching portfolio includes advanced courses such as Sports Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal and Orthopedic Physiotherapy, Manual Therapy, and Exercise Therapy.
