Crystal brings over 20 years of experience including working in community mental health
organizations, family health teams, clinical hospital social work and private clinics. Crystal is
Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
and a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service
Workers (OCSSW) she has extensive experience working with people from all walks of life.
Her education includes a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a
Bachelors of Social Work (Honours) from Toronto Metropolitan University and Bachelors of Arts
from the University of Guelph. Crystal has completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
(CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SF) and Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Crystal is highly skilled in working with couples and families and holds a post-graduate
Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family therapy from the University of Guelph. She is trained
in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) therapy for individuals, couples and families and is an
Associate Member of the Canadian Association for Couple & Family Therapy (CACFT).
Crystal provides treatment for a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety,
depression, burnout, trauma, emotional regulation, grief and loss, self-esteem, family
transitions and chronic health issues. Other areas of interest include; relationship and marital
issues including couple’s communication, lost connection,
