About Courtney
Courtney is a Registered Social Worker, wife, and mother of two young boys. Her own journey through infertility and the transition into motherhood inspired her passion for supporting others at every stage of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. She understands that these seasons can bring both deep joy and profound challenge. She recognizes that infertility can also place significant strain on relationships, communication, and connection. She is committed to providing a safe, grounded, and hope-filled space for those navigating these experiences.
Courtney has a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing health-related anxiety, postpartum anxiety and OCD, those coping with unexpected medical diagnoses in pregnancy, and those navigating the emotional and relational challenges of infertility. She also provides compassionate parenting support, helping mothers find confidence and calm in their roles as caregivers.
Her approach is collaborative and empowering—rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a belief in the resilience of the human spirit. Courtney integrates principles from Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and works from a trauma-informed and feminist perspective. For those who wish, she welcomes the integration of Christian faith and values into the therapeutic process, trusting in the healing that can come through both faith and connection.
Outside of her clinical work, Courtney enjoys the simple rhythms of life on her family farm, where she and her husband are raising their two young boys. She loves spending time outdoors—whether tending to her garden, exploring nature with her family, or embracing the everyday adventures that come with farm life. These moments keep her grounded and remind her of the importance of slowing down, finding joy in the present, and cultivating meaningful connection.
Courtney completed her Master of Social Work in 2013 and continues to pursue ongoing training in Maternal Mental Health, Infertility, Pregnancy Loss, and Reproductive Trauma to ensure her practice remains both compassionate and evidence-informed.
