Corinne recently graduated from UBC Vancouver with a Master of Physical Therapy after
completing her Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC Okanagan. She has a strong interest in
musculoskeletal injury rehab, injury prevention and longevity. She’s lived in West Kelowna since she
was a kid and remembers the days of snowboarding at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort and having
birthday parties at Wild N’ Wet Waterslides. She worked as a personal trainer and group fitness
instructor for over 10 years serving mainly older adults and seniors which inspired her to go back to
school. She realized there are many individuals dealing with multiple health conditions plus injuries
that she wanted to expand her knowledge to have a bigger impact. She’s also dealt with her own
health challenges such as being diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis which inspired her
even further to learn how exercise and lifestyle changes can have a major impact on quality of life.
Her philosophy when working with clients is to embrace shared decision-making, seeing and
treating the whole person, focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship, and using
evidence informed treatment such as exercise – movement is medicine!
When she’s not in the clinic you can find her teaching spin classes (indoor cycling), working out at
the gym, hiking, going to music festivals, and spending time with her partner and teenage stepson.
