Colleen Davies is a graduate of the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy, Halifax NS, class of 1994. Colleen completed her Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2004. In 2009, she became Certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS). Colleen has practiced Physiotherapy in the Victoria area for 25 years.
She draws from her training and experience in joint mobilization, manipulation, IMS, soft tissue release and exercise prescription to provide comprehensive treatment for her clients.
She enjoys treating people of all ages and a full range of musculoskeletal conditions. She has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of TMJ dysfunction (TMD). For more than 25 years she has worked collaboratively with dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, physicians and other health professionals in the management of complex TMJ conditions.
Colleen has taken numerous post graduate courses and has been involved with teaching fourth year medical students at UVic. She loves maintaining a healthy active lifestyle and being involved in the Peninsula community where she has raised her family over the past 21 years.
