As an osteopathic manual practitioner, the focus is on restoring bodily function where it is lost by using a hands-on approach to treatment. As a classically trained manual osteopath, I focus on addressing the interrelation between the patient’s fascia, muscles, viscera and skeletal system using gentle manual techniques. I’ve taken a number of continuing education courses that focus on the neck and TMJ (jaw) treatments, thoracic spine and rib treatments, lumbar spine and pelvic treatments and digestive organ mobilization to help with conditions such as IBS, acid reflux, and constipation.
