About Claire
If you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or the unpredictable early years of parenting — and it feels harder than you expected — you're not alone. Many new parents experience overwhelm, anxiety, or a sense of disconnection, even when everything looks “fine” from the outside. Claire understands the emotional intensity of these transitions, and offers a steady, compassionate space to help you feel more grounded in yourself, your relationships, and the evolving role of parenthood.
Claire works with individuals, couples, and families during the perinatal period and early parenthood — a time that often comes with silent pressure to hold it all together. As both a therapist and a mother, she brings deep empathy, clinical expertise, and real-life insight into the challenges her clients face. Whether you’re navigating sleep deprivation, shifting identity, changes in your relationship, or silent grief after birth trauma or loss, Claire creates space for your full experience — not just the socially acceptable parts. Together, you’ll work toward manageable, realistic steps that help you feel more connected to yourself and those around you.
In addition to her work with parents and young families, Claire supports women in midlife who are navigating personal and relational transitions: career shifts, changing roles as children grow, separation or divorce, or simply the desire to reconnect with who they are outside of caregiving. Her counselling style is relational and empowering, focused on helping clients build stronger self-understanding and more meaningful connections — whether in marriage, family, or community.
