I'm Cindy Woolfrey. I'm a Registered Provisional Psychologist with Master's degrees in both Counselling Psychology and Education, but more importantly, I'm someone who believes that we all deserve a life that feels a little bit easier. My journey here hasn't been a straight line - I've spent time as a teacher, a guidance counsellor, an ADHD consultant, and even a trainer in the fitness industry. These experiences taught me a vital lesson: our health isn't just one thing. Our minds, bodies, and spirits are all connected, and when one part of our life feels heavy, it affects everything else. How We'll Work Together I provide personalized counselling for adults, teens, and couples, as well as various clinical and educational assessments. Because you are unique, I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Instead, I pull from different tools - like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy - to tailor our sessions to your specific personality and goals. I see therapy as a way to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. It's about shifting our perspectives to find new possibilities and making changes that stick. I work from a trauma-informed and inclusive lens, but most of all, I work with you. I truly believe you hold the key to your own healing; I'm just here to walk alongside you and help you unlock it. A Little About Me When I'm not in the office, I'm likely chasing the sun. I'm a total extrovert who gets energized by the people around me! I love to travel - I even spent two years living in Hong Kong and exploring Southeast Asia. These days, my family and I love escaping to warm, tropical spots, but we're just as happy camping in the beautiful Rocky Mountains right in our own backyard. Being outdoors is what feeds my soul; whether it's a vast ocean or just a sunny walk with my dogs, nature is my "reset" button.
