Christina is a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) and a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (Registration #4321). She is also a registered member of the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists and has completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Christina also brings 16 years of experience working in policing working as a police dispatcher and victim service caseworker. She has a strong background in trauma-informed care, informed by many years of experience working in high-stress support environments. This has given her deep insight into the impact of stress and trauma on individuals, families, and relationships. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman-informed interventions for couples. She practices from a person-centred, trauma-informed lens and is passionate about supporting individuals and couples as they navigate trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and emotional wellbeing. Christina is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel supported in building resilience and meaningful change.
