In Art Therapy, you don’t need to be “good at art”, some of the ugliest, messiest pieces are often the most meaningful, honest and real. We explore mediums, and ways of making that feel right for you: painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, or even digital art! Art Therapy is shaped around what you need: exploring a challenge, testing out ways to cope, or simply carving out a breather just for you. As a person I bring warmth, curiosity, and a little playful energy to our work together. My experience as a teacher, a parent, and someone who has supported people through all kinds of life challenges helps me meet you where you are at and tailor sessions to what will actually help. Sessions are creative and exploratory, giving you space to experiment, reflect, and sometimes push yourself in ways that feel useful and real. Whether you’re a teen, or young person figuring out school and friendships or an adult managing stress, life transitions, family responsibilities, art therapy gives you a chance to explore, reflect, and maybe even have a laugh or two along the way, all while gaining a new perspective on what’s weighing on you.
