I’m Michy, the founder of Left Brain Right Brain Studio, and I’m super excited to finally bring this space to life for our amazing community and your little ones!
Growing up in Hong Kong, my parents made sure my siblings and I explored all kinds of activities—music, art, sports—not just to keep us busy, but to spark a love for learning that would last a lifetime. That spirit of curiosity has stuck with me and inspired me to create Left Brain Right Brain Studio.
I’ve been lucky to learn from some incredible mentors, like those at Simply Art in Hong Kong, and I was even recognized by the Hong Kong Ministry of Education for my art skills when I was 12. My passion for creating has only grown since then.
With my Montessori training, background in early childhood education and creative arts, and experience as a fitness coach, I know the importance of building a strong foundation from an early age. I envision Left Brain Right Brain Studio as a place where kids can freely explore, create, and discover—especially in today’s tech-heavy world. I’ll always choose pen and paper over a screen, and I want kids to feel that same joy of hands-on creativity, away from devices.
As a coach and educator, I totally understand the juggling act parents face. Many of you are back to work early, with grandparents or caregivers stepping in. Left Brain Right Brain Studio offers flexibility, a fresh environment for your kids, and a friendly space for families to connect without having to marvel too far away from home.
We will also be hosting wellness workshops for moms in the future, because let’s be real—a healthy family starts with happy, supported parents.
I’m really looking forward to this journey together with our community. Let’s create a space where kids can learn, grow, and enjoy the magic of simply being kids while building the foundation they need to thrive.
