About Chelsey

Welcome! I’m glad you're here. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel like a big leap, but you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to create a straightforward, no-nonsense space where you can be real about what’s going on in your life. I understand that opening up, especially for men, can feel tough, but I believe in creating authentic connections. Together, we’ll work on getting you where you want to be—stronger, clearer, and more in control. I have a special interest in working with trauma and first responders, recognizing the unique challenges they face in managing stress, trauma, and the emotional weight of their work. I also work with men dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, and grief. I work with individuals age 13+ and couples who are looking for meaningful change. Whether you're coping with past experiences, navigating current stress, or facing relationship struggles, I’m here to help you take meaningful steps toward healing and growth. My approach is practical and tailored to your needs. I draw from methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR for trauma, and the Gottman Method for couples. These evidence-based approaches allow us to find the best path for you and help break through the challenges you’re facing. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, watching the Edmonton Oilers, and baking sourdough bread—activities that help me stay grounded and connected. You can expect me to show up authentically, and I’ll encourage you to do the same. In our sessions, you’ll find a nonjudgmental space focused on honest conversations, practical strategies, and a path forward that feels right for you. Let’s work at your pace, tackle what's holding you back, and get you moving toward the change you want.
