Chad Luarca is a Registered Massage Therapist with a Kinesiology degree from the University of British Columbia and a background in personal training, fitness, and rehabilitation. His previous experience includes working with clients in demanding environments, including at EA Sports.
Having played sports throughout his life, Chad understands the physical demands of staying active. He grew up playing basketball and volleyball and continues to enjoy both recreationally. His own experience recovering from injuries has shaped his interest in rehabilitation and his understanding of the challenges involved in returning to work, exercise, and the activities people enjoy.
Chad works with desk-based professionals, busy adults, and recreational athletes experiencing neck, shoulder, and upper-back tension, stiffness, training-related soreness, and general aches and pains. Treatments may incorporate deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, and joint mobilizations based on each client’s needs and preferences.
Chad also provides simple, practical, and realistic home-care recommendations to help clients manage symptoms between appointments.
Outside the clinic, Chad enjoys working out, playing sports, watching basketball, travelling, exploring new food spots, and spending time with his corgi, Nori.
