Hello! My name is Cecilia Carneiro, I am a registered Physiotherapist specialist in Lymphotherapy, with over 15 years of experience in Lymphatic Drainage in the Lymphotherapy technique based on the German’s Foldi technique. I attended college in Brazil and obtained a Degree in Physiotherapy in 2004. One year after graduation, I’ve pursued my specialization.
Before moving to Canada, I have opened the first Lymphatic Drainage service offered by the public health care system in the hospital I worked at in Brazil, as it was a dream of mine to help provide better quality of life to those who didn’t know about ways to manage Lymphedema.
I have moved to Kelowna, BC, in 2016 with my husband and two children. I have attained my Canadian licensure, and have been a Physiotherapist here in Canada since February 2021, expanding my field of practice also aiding patients with musculoskeletal ailments.
I am very passionate about helping my patients understand their conditions, engage in proper treatments and overcome their disabilities.
