About Catherine
Born and raised in Guelph, I'm proud to be launching my career as a Registered Massage Therapist in the community I’ve always called home. I’m excited and ready to step into this role, bringing compassionate, hands-on care to the people of Guelph.
I'm especially passionate about working in a multidisciplinary setting, where practitioners come together to support clients with a full-circle, team-based approach to wellness. I truly believe in treating the whole person, and I'm excited to be part of a space where that philosophy is lived out every day.
I graduated with honours and an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy from Mohawk College in 2025. I am registered with the CMTO and a member of the RMTAO. I am also certified in Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) with the Stretch to Win Institute.
FST differs from traditional Swedish massage in both approach and intention. While Swedish massage focuses on relaxing the muscles through pressure, kneading, and gliding techniques on the surface tissues, FST targets the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, and organs. FST is performed on a treatment table with the client fully clothed and uses gentle, pain-free traction and assisted stretching to increase mobility, reduce tension, and improve flexibility throughout the entire body. FST takes a more dynamic and movement-based approach to treatment, working with the nervous system to create lasting changes in range of motion and functional movement patterns.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy baking, reading, spending time with friends and family, as well as staying active when I can through running, weight lifting, and golfing!
I aim to create a comfortable, inclusive environment where each client feels heard and supported, no matter where they are in their wellness journey.
I look forward to continuing to serve the community I love, now from the treatment room, and I can't wait to be a part of your healthcare team!
