Cassandra graduated from UBC in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to working as a physiotherapist. Cassandra is certified to practice acupuncture (CAFCI) and K-taping. She has most recently completed both the Arthritis Society's Getting a Grip on Arthritis® osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis education programs. She has taken several manual therapy courses under the orthopedic division (Level 3), as well as courses on muscle imbalance, core stability, dizziness, TMJ, and sports injury management and general rehabilitation.
With a variety of experiences in adult & children’s sports/orthopedic/MSK injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation, Cassandra believes in a holistic approach to physical therapy. As a physiotherapist, Cassandra is passionate about providing individualized care for her patients to help maximize their quality of life and return to daily activities. She emphasizes a treatment approach that includes a thorough assessment, treatment plan and educating her patients to help better understand their bodies and functional movements. She strongly believes in taking her time to listen to her client’s needs and empower them to be proactive with their management. Her practice encompasses manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to ensure you reach your individual goals. Cassandra is continuously finding different ways to further her knowledge to effectively help individuals recover and reach their fullest potential.
Outside of physiotherapy, Cassandra enjoys skiing, hiking and running. She completed her first Ultramarathon in 2024 and has switched focus from road to trail running over the past two years. More often than not you will find her staying active outdoors. Cassandra is also fluent in Punjabi.
