About Carrie

Carrie’s path to physiotherapy began early, following a series of sport-related knee injuries that required both surgery and rehabilitation. These first-hand experiences shaped her passion for helping others move with strength and confidence, whether recovering from injury, surgery, or persistent pain. Today, she combines her personal insight with advanced clinical training to help clients restore function, prevent re-injury, and reach their performance goals safely and effectively. Carrie earned her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2006 after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She holds a Certificate in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is certified in Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CG*IMS). Drawing on her training in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM), Carrie takes a whole-body approach to uncover the root causes of pain and movement dysfunction. Her treatment approach integrates hands-on techniques with targeted exercises, often incorporating Clinical Pilates principles to promote balanced movement patterns. With curiosity, care, and a pragmatic approach, Carrie supports clients of all backgrounds in achieving meaningful results. After several years working in private orthopaedic clinics throughout Vancouver, Carrie is pleased to return to the North Shore, a community she now proudly calls home. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys staying active on the local trails accompanied by her energetic dog, Pippa.
