Carolyn Nadan - Registered Massage Therapist
Carolyn brings over a decade of dedicated experience as a Registered Massage Therapist to Capria Care Collective, where her passion for comprehensive treatment and mentorship continues to flourish. Having taught both clinical practice and hands-on classes at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), Carolyn combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the therapeutic relationship and its power to facilitate recovery.
Clinical Expertise and Whole-Body Approach:
A 2012 graduate of Utopia Academy's Registered Massage Therapy program, Carolyn's approach to treatment is informed by her personal experience with illness and recovery. This background revealed to her the profound interconnectedness of the body and how it holds not only physical pain, but stress and emotion as well. Her treatments address the whole person rather than isolated symptoms, incorporating myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, joint mobilizations, stretching, and Swedish massage techniques.
Comprehensive Care Across All Ages:
Carolyn's practice encompasses patients of all ages and conditions, with particular expertise in supporting those managing illness and chronic conditions. Her clinical experience extends to treating back pain, headaches, pregnancy-related discomfort, arthritis, acute injuries including strains and sprains, and postural imbalances. She understands that each client's recovery process is unique and tailors her approach accordingly.

Carolyn's dedication to advancing the profession extends beyond her clinical practice. Her teaching experience has strengthened her commitment to compassionate, skilled care while fostering the next generation of massage therapists.
