Where are you from? Vancouver, Canada What were you doing before pursuing RMT? Before pursuing RMT, I worked in immuno-oncology for 6 years in Boston, MA. I studied neuroscience in my undergrad career at Princeton and have actually had a paper published! Why do you want to be an RMT? I want to be a an RMT because I have always wanted to help people the best I can. For a long time I thought I wanted to be a doctor but I didn’t love how little time they often got with their patients. RMT seems to be the perfect blend of my biomedical interests and love for 1:1 interactions! How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school? My number one way to spend time outside of school is hanging out with my asthmatic cat, Pippin. I also love working out, playing video games, and am currently learning to make my own clothes! What is your favourite thing about VCMT? My favourite thing about VCMT is definitely the community. I love the people— I feel like I am, for the first time, surrounded by people who think like me and have the same values! It’s really meaningful how close my class has gotten already and I feel like we all have a tremendous amount of impact on each other and on the cohort dynamic.
