About Cara

I offer evidence-based and collaborative counselling treatments. I believe a trust-based, caring, authentic counselling relationship is the foundation for positive processing, healing, and change, and believe shared humor can have a place in the therapeutic realm. I have significant training and specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS). My additional training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, AEDP and MBT. I have a master's degree in Counselling Psychology, am a Canadian Certified Counsellor, and have worked as a professional counsellor since 2010. . CCC #:10010252
