Education and Training: Canan is a Psychologist registered in both Ontario and Alberta. She holds Master’s degrees in Psychology (M.Psy.) and Education (M.Ed.). Her clinical experience was built in diverse settings, from conducting diagnostic assessments within major school boards to supporting recovery in rehabilitation centers. With certifications in Multimodal Psychotherapy and Psychological Assessment, Canan brings a deeply informed, scientific approach to every session. Before moving into clinical practice, Canan spent over a decade working in international human resources and corporate consulting. This experience gives her a grounded, “real-world” understanding of professional burnout and the effect that high-pressure environments can have on mental health. Today, she warmly supports adults navigating anxiety and depression, adjusting to health changes, working through relationship challenges, and adapting to the unique life transitions that come with immigration.
