“I sustained a quad tendon trauma when a blindside snowboarder clipped me in the fog. I stopped early on Feb 9, and on the morning of Feb 10, I could not straighten the left leg during the course of a normal walking gait. I didn’t ski , and very fortunately was able to schedule a 1.5 hour session that morning with Brooke, fortunate as she was fully booked and presumably a short notice cancel came up. Having been through two total hip replacements and a year long bout of “sciatica” I have visited a fair number of RMT and physiotherapists, I can say without reservation this was the best care I have ever experienced.
Brooke directed me to the treatment room, a few questions regarding my discomfort, and proceeded to follow her roadmap as to areas of my body needing massage, I was surprised when she did not start at the injury site, rather contralateral to it, my lower back, which I may have been overcompensating with. Significant initial relief realized! Not more than 15 words were spoken between us, she is all focus and business, and the 1.5 hours went by in a flash. Highly recommended, I will reappoint for another encounter before I leave. Thank you Brooke.
