Bianca provides warm, practical therapy for children aged 8+, teens, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism and difficult life transitions.
She has a particular interest in helping teens and young adults navigate:
Anxiety, overthinking and perfectionistic pressure
Self-esteem, confidence and body image
Social-media comparison and online identity
Identity, belonging and relationship concerns
School, post-secondary and career stress
Friendships, breakups, boundaries and people-pleasing
ADHD-related organization and emotional regulation
Grief, stress, burnout and major life changes
Bianca’s master’s capstone explored the relationship between social media and adolescent self-esteem, giving her a focused understanding of how online comparison can affect confidence, mood, relationships and identity.
Child Therapy and Parent Support
Bianca supports children aged 8+ with anxiety, big emotions, confidence, grief, friendship difficulties, school stress and adjustment to change. She works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to help them better understand their child’s needs and identify practical ways to provide support at home.
Her strengths-based approach draws from CBT, ACT and Solution-Focused Therapy. Sessions are adapted to each client’s age, personality, goals and comfort level.
Bianca offers in-person therapy in northeast Edmonton and virtual therapy across Alberta, with appointments beginning in October. Direct billing may be available depending on the client’s insurer and benefit plan.
