About Bethany

Currently booking age 16+ Bethany graduated from the University of New Brunswick with her Masters in Counselling Psychology in fall of 2022. With a passion for people and a genuine curiosity, Bethany integrates a variety of approaches in her counselling, including person centred, cognitive behaviour therapy, and approaches that tap into people’s creativity. Bethany feels strongly that every client is unique, and strives to build strong rapport that encourages change. She has experience working with ages 12+, and as a new mom, she has a passion for helping youth and caregivers by providing helpful techniques for regulating, understanding and processing emotions. She has experience helping people with grief and loss, stress and anger management, anxiety, self-esteem and body image. In her spare time, you can find Bethany in nature, performing musical theatre, working out or enjoying the company of a good book. Bethany is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Licensed Counselling Therapist- Candidate (LCT-C). She is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and member of The College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB).
