About Bethany

I am a Registered Psychologist with The College of Alberta Psychologists. I am trained and certified as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner with The Rocky Mountain Play Institute. I work with children and families suffering from anxiety, depression, family transitions (divorce, separation), domestic violence, grief, and developmental trauma. As said best by Gary Landreth: “Toys are children’s words and play is their language”. I am also trained and experienced working with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults) suffering from domestic abuse and relational trauma. I have worked as a domestic violence therapist in central Alberta over the past two years, and recognize the significant need in our area for therapeutic support. At Tides Center I aspire to create a safe haven for my clients and their families.
