Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Becca began pursuing competitive swimming after spending a year living in Australia with her family. After many years and her fair share of injuries, this athletic pursuit led to an opportunity to be an NCAA athlete at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Following her retirement from swimming, Becca switched varsity sports to rowing culminating in NCAA national championship appearance. Between her undergraduate years, Becca spent 5 summers as a camp counsellor for Mini U Children's Programs at the University of Manitoba where she worked with children of all ages and abilities.
While pursuing her physiotherapy degree at the University of Toronto, Becca completed two clinical placements in paediatrics at The Hive and SickKids Hospital. These experiences fueled her passion for helping children and their families alongside the world of paediatric physiotherapy. Becca is excited to work with kids physio to make a positive impact in the lives of kids and families within the Okanagan through movement, activity and achieving goals both big and small.
In her spare time, Becca can be found enjoying and exploring all Kelowna has to offer from hiking, biking, skiing or just walks along the waterfront with her partner.
