About Beatrice
Hello! My name is Beatrice Achen and I am a Registered Psychologist and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta. I was born in Romania and immigrated to Canada with my family when I was two years old! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Counselling Psychology with Athabasca University.
I am dedicated to recognizing every individual has their own unique life experience. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I want you to feel heard and understood. I work with you at your pace to gain insight into your thoughts, emotions and behaviors, and to develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to empower you to make positive changes in your life and to achieve greater emotional well-being.
