About Ashley

Ashley Viklund is a Registered Psychologist who has been a member of the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists since 2015. She completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina and has extensive experience providing assessment and counselling services to both youth and adults. Prior to entering private practice, Ashley worked in community mental health, first responder, and forensic settings, gaining valuable experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of psychological, emotional, and life challenges. She is committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and work toward meaningful change. Ashley works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, burnout, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioural challenges. She also has a special interest in working with athletes, first responders, and high-performing individuals seeking to optimize performance, build resilience, manage pressure, and achieve personal or professional goals. As a former member of Canada's National Women's Tackle Football Team and a national-level powerlifter, she understands the mental and emotional demands of competition firsthand. Whether you're looking to improve confidence, manage performance anxiety, enhance focus, recover from setbacks, or navigate life outside of sport, Ashley combines professional expertise with lived athletic experience to help you perform at your best in sport and in life.
