About Ashleigh

Welcome! I'm happy to offer counselling services to children, teens, and adults. I have a background in clinical psychology and have worked in the field for more than 14 years. My approach to counselling is a collaborative one that positions you as the expert in your own life. I honour your unique lived experiences and respect all the holistic elements that make you the person you are. I am committed to creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where we can work together towards your desired goals. If you choose to embark on your journey with me, you can expect warmth, compassion, authenticity, a healthy dose of curiosity and even a little humour when appropriate. Cultural and identity considerations are also a very important element of my practice: as a woman from the Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour [BIPOC] community, I know the importance of finding your voice and your power. If you would like to incorporate this into our work, I am ready to explore this with you. I look forward to meeting you and taking those first steps together.
