About Arianna

Hi there! My name is Arianna, and I am one of the physiotherapists here at South Island Physio. I have experienced injuries and pain over the years myself, so I understand how discouraging it can be when we feel limited to participate in activities that bring us joy. My role is to show up curious, work with you to identify your goals, and guide you along the way. Your role is to show up and be willing to put in some work, and together we’ll make a plan to bring your body back to its confident, capable and thriving self. Physiotherapists are teachers as much as we are healers and I aim to not only help you feel better but empower you with knowledge to move through your injury and get you back to an active lifestyle. Whether that is lifting your grandchildren or setting a personal best in your sport; it’s these moments of success that I’m interested in. My journey in this role started with completing my Bachelor of Kinesiology here in Victoria. I then decided to combine my interest in movement and the body with my love of travel, and moved to Ireland where I completed my Masters of Physiotherapy with honours distinction. When I'm not working, you can find me moving in various ways. I love hiking, weight lifting, doing yoga and walking for hours exploring new places and finding amazing food around the world.
