About Areej
Areej Khan completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has over seven years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults with many mental health concerns.
She works with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, parent-child relationship problems, academic difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties. She also enjoys providing parent coaching sessions for parenting difficulties. Areej provides psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessment services with children, adolescents, and adults.
Areej is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has completed the necessary supervised practice requirements to register with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is currently providing assessment and therapy services under supervision.
