About Ara

Ara is a physiotherapist with a strong foundation in sport, shaped by over 12 years as a competitive sprinter. Training regularly and continuing to push her own body, she understands the demands of performance, consistency, and what it feels like when things don’t go to plan. She has has spent time in the patient chair herself. Following foot surgery in 2023, she worked her way back to competitive racing by 2025. She understands the frustration, the setbacks, and the discipline required to stay consistent when progress feels slow. More importantly, she knows what it takes to come out the other side stronger. She has a particular interest in foot and ankle injuries, as well as lower limb rehabilitation more broadly. She enjoys working in that space where rehab meets performance, helping patients build strength from the ground up and return to movement with confidence. Her approach is centred around exercise, with a focus on clear direction, progressive loading, and long-term results- not quick fixes. She has experience working with a women’s rugby team in Ireland, alongside her involvement in athletics, and enjoys working with people who are motivated to improve. Her sessions are supportive, focused, and always tailored to the individual. She brings a positive, easy-going energy into the room, while still knowing when to challenge her patients and push them forward. Expect: Someone who genuinely enjoys what she does, she is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.
