Where are you from? Bowen Island, Canada What were you doing before pursuing RMT? Before enrolling in the part time program at VCMT I was a teacher and private tutor. After I left teaching, I started working as a massage therapy intern and quickly knew I wanted to pursue a career in registered massage therapy. Why do you want to be an RMT? I was drawn to the career because of my background in high level soccer and athletics in general. I wanted to start a new career that was more active and had the opportunity to help others. How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school One of my favourite things to do in my free time is ocean swimming. This is closely followed by relaxing on the couch with a dog or two and having campfires with friends. What is your favourite thing about VCMT? Meeting new people and making friends has been a highlight of VCMT. I also appreciate how supportive the teachers and staff are at the school.
