Anita is a compassionate therapist who believes life’s challenges can be powerful opportunities for growth and healing. She creates a supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with greater self-awareness and resilience.
Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from CBT, EFT, ACT, mindfulness-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. Anita integrates psychoeducation and mindfulness techniques to empower clients with practical tools for well-being.
With over 20 years of meditation experience and a background as a meditation instructor, she brings a grounded, mindful presence to her work. She has extensive experience supporting diverse communities, including professionals, newcomers, refugees, and individuals from 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC backgrounds.
Anita works with clients facing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, identity concerns, and life transitions.
Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys abstract painting, ceramics, running, strength training, and spending time in nature.
Anita holds a Master of Social Work degree and is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
