About Anita

Anita is an international board certified lactation consultant, lactation educator and a member of CAPPA Canada. Anita’s aim is to help mothers reach their breastfeeding goals in a non-judgmental, accepting and natural approach. She volunteers her time with the Halton Breastfeeding Connection both as a volunteer for mother-to-mother support and with the Advisory Committee while also committing her time as Treasurer for the Halton Baby Friendly Initiative. She is a graduate of the Breastfeeding Program at Mohawk College where she also teaches Advanced Breastfeeding Practice. Anita has her MBA and previously worked in the business world until the birth of her children. She found her passion for breastfeeding at that time and decided to make it a career. In additional to also working at a private clinic in Burlington, Anita enjoys an active lifestyle, baking and spending time with her family. Anita lives in Oakville with her supportive husband and her 2 wonderful children.
