About Andrew

Andrew has been practicing in the field of massage therapy since 2014, when he graduated with a 2200-hour diploma specializing in Orthopedic Massage and Assessment. Since then, he has taken additional courses in proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, myofascial cupping, Table Thai massage, Bamboo massage (studied in Thailand), & IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization). Andrew also has a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education degree with a major in Physical Literacy from Mount Royal University. Andrew’s educational background has given him knowledge of how the body should be moving and helps him to identify the root causes of pain and restricted motion. Andrew uses a blend of many different techniques to provide a unique massage treatment with the goal of helping clients live active, healthy, pain-free lives. He also has an extended network of other health care providers for referrals to further help his clients reach their health goals. He shares that though everyone can benefit from massage, he has found much success working with certain populations, including office workers, nurses, other medical professional practitioners, and trades workers. Andrew also enjoys working with anyone that is training for a fitness goal such as a marathon, 5K obstacle course race, or power lifting competitions. Outside of massage therapy, Andrew enjoys spending time out in the mountains, playing on the tennis courts, or attempting to improve his golf game. Looking to grow his own business, Andrew joined the networking group BNI Excellence, to which he says has helped him immensely over his years of membership. He is also proud to be associated with Variety – the Children's Charity of Alberta where he sits on their Board of Directors as Vice President.
