About Andrew

Andrew began university studies with an interest in philosophy and kinesiology, but after a back injury at the age of 22, began a different journey to relieve his own excruciating pain. After receiving treatment from multiple disciplines without change he was referred for osteopathic care, which stopped his pain and allowed his body to heal. This inspired him to investigate this model of healing. He studied osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO) in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated in 2017, after completing and defending his thesis entitled "The Effects of Global Osteopathic Treatment on Post-Traumatic Chronic Tinnitus: A Pilot Study." This earned him the designation of D.O.M.P. for completion of the program, D.Sc.O. for completion of the thesis, and the title "Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OMP)". Andrew is currently in private practice in Dundas, ON and has a special interest in treating people who are experiencing back pain and post-concussion syndrome. He is presently engaged in post-graduate studies, learning about the Biodynamic approach to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field. Andrew is a current member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) (2017 - present), and through that association is a member of the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths (CFO), and the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA). Andrew was a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapist's Association of Ontario (RMTAO) since the year 2000, until retiring from them in 2024.
