About Andrew

Andrew enjoys working with people who want to understand why something isn’t moving or feeling the way it should, and what they can do about it. Originally from Edmonton, Andrew completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. His background as a former U of A Track Team sprinter and competitive snowboarder shaped his interest in movement, performance, and helping people build confidence in what their bodies can do. Andrew has a particular interest in sports and training injuries, knee and shoulder rehabilitation, concussion and post concussion care, TMJD and jaw concerns, and motor vehicle injuries. He especially enjoys complex cases, including clients who have tried different approaches but still don’t feel like they have a clear understanding of what’s going on. His approach is to step back, look at the bigger picture, and help clients better understand their body and the path forward. Sessions combine education, hands on treatment when appropriate, and progressive exercise to create a plan that reflects each client’s goals, lifestyle, and current capacity. Rather than focusing only on where something hurts, Andrew looks at how you move, what may be contributing, and what needs to change to help you move forward. The goal is to build confidence in movement while giving clients a better understanding of their body and what they can do to support it long term. Andrew’s experience ranges from everyday active clients and weekend warriors to varsity, professional, Pan American Games, and Olympic level athletes. Regardless of where someone is starting, he believes every client deserves the same level of curiosity, attention, and individualized care. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Andrew running, lifting, snowboarding, or spending time outdoors with his wife, their two dogs, and their cat. Whether your goal is getting back to sport, returning to training, navigating a complex concern, or simply feeling more confident in everyday movement, Andrew will help you make sense of where you are, where you want to go, and build a clear path forward.
