About Andrea

Andrea has been a practicing physiotherapist for over twenty years. Known for her thorough and compassionate approach, Andrea prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She takes time to understand how symptoms affect their daily lives, working collaboratively to help them achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals. Her practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, and she creates a respectful, inclusive space for healing. After graduating from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Andrea began her career in private practice with a focus on orthopaedics. Over time, her clinical interests expanded into pelvic health, where she now focuses her continuing education and practice. Andrea has completed advanced post-graduate training in pelvic health physiotherapy, including courses on pelvic pain and dysfunction, urinary incontinence, perinatal care, Cesarean birth recovery, dyspareunia, and trans and gender diverse care. She is committed to affirming care for all bodies and identities. Her clinical toolkit includes the use of biofeedback, corrective exercise, manual therapy, and pain science education to support recovery and optimize function. Andrea also draws from training in acupuncture and movement assessment to address musculoskeletal and pelvic health concerns holistically. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking in nature, baking, and swapping recipes - especially those that bring comfort and connection.
